Member and Online Account Statuses
In memberplanet, statuses are used to define whether an individual is currently affiliated with your PTA and whether a member has gone through online registration or claimed his/her account. Although we have two types of statuses – Member Statuses and Online Account Statuses – you can find all of them grouped together in the database in one dropdown menu. Membership reflects whether or not an individual is considered a current, dues-paying member.
Member Statuses determine accessibility of an account:
Active: Currently affiliated with your PTA
Inactive: Previously affiliated with your PTA
Online Account Statuses show an admin where a member stands in terms of online account access. Online account status doesn't affect the accessibility of a profile:
Not Invited: A member has not been sent an invitation to complete online registration.
Invited: A member has been sent an invitation to complete online registration.
Joined: A member has claimed his account either through going online registration or otherwise.
Membership reflects an individual’s current membership status with your PTA.
An individual will have a member status, and online account status, and a membership status. For example, an individual can be Active without membership and Not Invited. In this scenario, this individual may have been added to a profile in the online registration process, but not assigned a membership level (as is common for child records). This scenario differs from an individual who went through the registration process, which may reflect a status of Active with membership and Joined.
